A review of Harry Mount's 'My Brief Career' is now on my book club blog, 'Joe's Budget Books'. It's a book blog dedicated to selecting very affordable books in order to encourage reading for young people aspiring to have professional careers.
'My Brief Career' is an account of a pupillage, the year a pupil barrister shadows more senior practising barristers as part of their initial training. The book was especially interesting to me as I hope to start a pupillage in the future.
