My review of the 'Stories of the Law and how it's Broken' is now on my book club blog 'Joe's Budget Books'. It's an extraordinarily frank assessment of the criminal bar, and an incredibly important read for law students and politicians.
The Secret Barrister is one of the best legal bloggers online. Many of the posts on this blog have been made reference to the excellent posts on the Secret Barrister's blog. Stories of the law and how its broken demonstrates the scale of the problem with the crumbling criminal justice system, and why it is so important to fight for it. It's undoubtedly one of the best and most important books I've read recently.
